1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Kegel - Pelvic Floor Exercises (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app; you can delete it at any time. In these terms “we” and “us” mean the app’s publisher and “you” means the person using the app.
Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. Where they conflict with these terms in relation to the App Store, Apple’s terms apply.
2. Who may use the app
The app is intended for adults aged 18 or over. You need an iPhone running a supported version of iOS. No account is required - there is nothing to register, and nothing to lose access to.
3. Not medical advice - please read
Kegels offer general wellness guidance for gentle pelvic floor contractions. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or supervision by a qualified health professional. We do not provide healthcare and no clinician - patient relationship is created by using the app.
If you are postpartum, pregnant, experiencing pain, recovering from surgery, or have any pelvic floor concern - including incontinence, prolapse or pelvic pain - speak to your doctor, midwife or a pelvic health physiotherapist before starting or continuing. Stop immediately and seek advice if any exercise causes pain, bleeding, dizziness or discomfort.
You use the app at your own risk and remain responsible for decisions about your own body and health.
4. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the app; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code except where the law expressly permits it; remove or obscure any proprietary notice; or use the app in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation or security.
5. Subscriptions and payment
The app is free to download and includes the Beginner and Foundation programs, the session timer, history, streaks, achievements and reminders at no cost. Kegels Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the Intermediate and Advanced programs.
If your subscription lapses, your history and settings remain intact - the app simply returns to the free programs.
6. Your data is your responsibility
Your sessions and settings are stored only on your device. We hold no copy and cannot recover your history if your device is lost, reset, or if you delete the app. If your records matter to you, keep device backups switched on. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail of what is stored and where.
7. Intellectual property
The app, this website, and all of their content - name, logo, design, text, illustrations, program structures and software - are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trade mark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app working well but cannot promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of defects. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop supporting older versions of iOS. If we ever discontinue the app, your installed copy will keep working as long as your device supports it, but we may stop issuing updates. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will tell you before it takes effect.
9. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty that the app will produce a particular health outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you, and these terms do not affect them.
10. Apple’s role
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, entitled to enforce them against you.
11. Ending these terms
You may end these terms at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms materially. Sections that by their nature should survive - intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law - continue to apply after the licence ends.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the publisher is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
